Biotene Review

My name’s Nick, and here’s my Biotene story.  I found myself in a situation not too long ago where my mouth was really dry.  I had just started taking daily prescription, and apparently one of the side effects was a dry mouth.  I wasn’t too happy about this, and it really started to make my day to day activities a hassle.

Things that used to be ordinary were suddenly a pain.  The worst part was the fact that my job required me to speak all day, and this became really annoying.  Water helped, but it wasn’t enough.  Besides, drinking water all day became really annoying.

If I had any clue about Biotene back then, my life would’ve been a lot easier.  Fortunately for me, I google just about everything, and decided one day to look into some fixes for dry mouth.  Biotene seemed to offer just that as I began to research it.

Biotene basically has technology at work that successfully treats the symptoms of dry mouth.  There’s something called potassium nitrate inside Biotene, and this is known to fight tooth sensitivity.

Unfortunately, dry mouth and tooth sensitivity often go hand in hand, and my teeth had been killing me.  I’m not the type to chase every little issue with medicine, so I really didn’t feel like taking Motrin every day.

Anyway, there’s also an Enzyme LP3 complex at work, and they say that this prevents bacteria from growing (a definite risk of dry mouth symptoms).

There’s also Xylitol inside Biotene, which happensto be a natural sweetener and masks any potential bad tastes that a “medicine” would usually have.  This is the same ingredient in Trident and other gums, so they taste may even be somewhat familiar to you.  It’s not bad at all.

All in all, I’m really happy with my Biotene.  I don’t need to worry about my teeth hurting, my mouth being dry, and my gums or inner cheeks starting to chafe and bleed.  I might go off the medication my doctor prescribed me, and if I do, I might not need Biotene anymore, but it’s definitely something I’ll continue to use for as long as I suffer from dry mouth symptoms and tooth sensitivity.
